Arthur's new job doesn't start for a couple weeks yet; he's moved in and settled in his new cottage by the woods, separated enough from other neighborhoods to be almost completely isolated. He appreciates the privacy, has already broken in the considerable land on his property by taking many walks through the woods, and generally feels as settled as he can be in a new town and country.
This morning, though. This morning, Arthur's curiosity gets the better of him, pulling him out of bed and beyond the paths he's already tread upon into the town of Siren Cove itself. He probably appears overly dressed, in his waist coat and trousers he usually reserves for teaching, but he feels the urge to make himself presentable as he comes to learn more of the history and secrets laying in wait beneath the veneer of Siren Cove. He's already heard of the town curse and rivalry, of course, and is eager to get to the library and read about more about them and how the supernatural plays a role within them.
But first, his stomach growls as he pauses in front of one I Scream Creamery, he ought to eat something, even if ice cream is an unusual breakfast. He smiles to himself as he enters. What, truly, is the point of being an adult if he can't indulge in ice cream for breakfast when he feels like it?
The small smile disappears as he concentrates on the menu, finally deciding upon a cherry-vanilla-mint flavor, taking his cone and moving to sit at the counter, people-watching as people come through the door.
[Find Arthur in the I Scream Creamery having ice cream for breakfast! He's actually not too broody today, too. ;)]
